Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park -
Covering an area of 650 acres, with 390 acres enjoying the protection of being Fiji's first National Park, the Sigatoka Sand Dunes offer a spectacular place to explore. Located at the mouth of the Sigatoka River on the island of Viti Levu, this extensive sand dune system reaches up to 60 meters at its highest point and is a very popular and photo-friendly attraction for tourists.
Forming for millions of years through coastal erosion, the dunes are the site of many archaeological excavations, which have uncovered pottery that is around 2,600 years old, as well as one of the largest burial sites in the Pacific. Take part in an organised tour to experience the wonders of this breath-taking National Park first hand. Tours take place seven days a week and are suitable for people of all ages, so why not get the whole family along for a day you'll never forget?
